Homemade Garlic & Herb Pesto Pasta

Our Garlic & Herb oil makes preparing fresh pesto even quicker and easier.

Serves 4 

Ingredients 

  • 250g dried pasta shapes 

  • Juice of half a Lemon 

  • 50g grated parmesan cheese, plus a little extra to serve 

  • Pinch of salt & pepper

  • 30g fresh basil

  • 50ml littleseed Garlic & Herb Oil 

Method 

  1. Cook pasta as per pack instructions, drain (saving two tablespoons of the pasta water) and add to a bowl. 

  2. Add the lemon juice, parmesan, salt & pepper, basil and oil to a blender or jug to blend with a hand blender. Blend until it’s a smooth consistency, adding the pasta water bit by bit to loosen up, if needed. 

  3. Stir the pesto through the pasta, sprinkle a little extra parmesan on top and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

If you have leftover pesto sauce, try freezing it in icecube trays. When you want to use it, just pop a portion out of the tray to defrost.
